Pashtana Durrani is an Afghan human rights activist.
From an early age, Durrani has been involved with education activism, starting her first home-based school for refugee girls with the help of her parents.
Durrani’s work focuses on human rights in Afghanistan and internationally, educating refugee children and promoting women’s rights. Durrani has worked with the Creative Girls Initiative, the Online Model United Nations, and as a Youth Ambassador for Marie Stopes International.
Durrani has delivered lectures on self-care, rights for girls and women, and dealing with harassment.
