Colin Tomchick has significant professional experience in wildland firefighting and emergency management and has deployed to incidents throughout North America. Over the course of six fire seasons, he rose through the ranks to become a helitack crew leader for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
In addition to his emergency management background, Colin has earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Studies from Queen’s University at Kingston and is currently an MA candidate at the University of New Brunswick. His MA research focuses on security and identity in the Canadian Arctic.
